Making Friends through Blogging

I received this award for being a bloggy friend with the wonderful Latree aka Dandelion. I don't even remember how I met Latree, but I truly enjoy reading her blog, and appreciate the time she puts into not only writing in English but translating into Indonesia for her friends and family at home. I am always learning something from her, like Indonesia is the word for the language people from Indonesia speak. Make sense?

I have met so many great people through the internet and blogger, and that is what this award is all about. I don't know if I have 8 friends to pass this on to. You can read the small print below.

These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement (? big word, lol). Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers. Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award.

Apple of The Apple Doesn't Fall Far From the Tree is the first recipient. She is a fellow bus driver, and shares the enjoyment of genealogy and for this I enjoy reading her blog and call her a friend.

I normally don't give awards to famous bloggers but Mama Kat does feel like a friend. She is not a stuck up, snobby famous person. If I leave her a comment she normally replies to my comment. She is just a funny gal. I'm always cracking up. I wish I lived closer to her so we could maybe be real life friends.

My next friend Angie is how I hope a true friend would be. Even if I don't stop by all the time or participate in her Wordful Wednesday because I just flat out forget I am just way to busy, she still comments back on my blog and replys to the comments I leave her. Plus her family is as big as mine. Us huge family moms have to stick together. :)

See I knew I wouldn't be able to come up with 8. Last but not least is my dearest sister-in-law, Staci. True we know each other in real life, but our blogs have become the main way to stay in touch. I have grown to know her better through her posts about the books she reads and the quotes she shares. If you are looking for a good book to read check with her.

This time change thing stinks! I'm not ready for bed yet and really should be. Guess I'll settle in with my book, Shelter Me, and try to get some shut-eye.
