For those of you who don't know me in real life, today is a very special day for my momma and me. 31 years ago her favorite daughter was born (that's me for those of you who had to ask)! I think my 'official' birth time isn't until 5:35 p.m. or something like that but we're-a celebrating all day.
The boys have offered to do anything and everything I ask today. Like making me cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Emptying the dishwasher. Doing laundry. Vacuuming the floor. Cleaning their rooms without being asked. How can I not be giddy about that! What great boys I have!! I just <3>

I even brought out my red table. Which is quite fitting as my afore mentioned mother bought it for me at an auction for my birthday several years ago. It came with god awful yellow vinyl covered chairs that she recovered in this cute checkered material. I just love this table and now I have so much more room to sew and make stuff.

Now on a not so giddy note, when did I get so old? 31. I mean come on. 30 was cool because who doesn't want to say, "Yeah, I'm 30"? But 31 just is one year closer to 40 or 50. This is the first birthday that has made me
I don't like feeling the age that I am. And I know 31 isn't OLD per say but I feel like it is. Maybe when I turn 32 I'll feel better...but wait that sounds way old. Oh, no....I'm old! So I guess I just answered my own question....this is how I can not be giddy....thinking about what an old lady I am.
