"Since you've been gone....."

Alex turned 11 and had a few friends over. Alex had been talking about his party all summer and having a water balloon fight with everybody. Wouldn't you know, when we went to buy water balloons we had a hard time finding them. We did end up with 2 packages for a total of 72 (which I thought would be plenty). They went through them in about 15 minutes and then broke out the hose.

Simon ran around the house with no clothes on. Only underwear. Does this surprise anyone? I love how he's gripping his fists. This makes him "runfaster"

The boys played one of their favorite outside games. Ride the skateboard down the driveway. Simon did have clothes on for this. His spooky Spiderman costume.

School started. Here is Alex with his girl friends. He's such a womanizer.

Yesterday during the Michigan football game, Simon wanted to wear the helmet. He normally is terrified of this mask and calls it the spooky guy. He wore it long enough for me to get just 2 shots. This was the best. And what do you know....only underwear!

Enjoy your week.

Thanks for the heads up on the tag people. I see this blanket all the time in crafty stores, I can't believe some company actually say's they own the rights too it. Have you ever tried selling them on etsy???

Me again, can you tell I was really bugged by the tag ladies. So I was talking to my mom this morning. She had something similar happen to her, but at a boutique, she sold car seat covers, and some lady came over and threw a huge fit saying that it was her design. My mom looked into it a little and apparently you cannot have patents on sewing patterns, (found this out from simplicity) which totally makes sense. I mean me and you could make something out of the same pattern and it could look totally different. Ok, I'll quit bugging you now, I just had to let you know that little tidbit in case you would like to sell these on etsy!

Happy Birthday to Alex!

I'm going to grip my fists the next time I want to run faster.
